KUALA LUMPUR: SP Setia Bhd recently celebrated the Mid-Autumn festival with their homeowners as the developer held its “Magical Reunion” themed events to commemorate the special occasion in their various townships across the country.

The celebrations were held at various Setia townships all over the country, with throngs of people who’ve attended the events and took part in various activities held throughout the celebration period.

According to statement, more than 1,000 homeowners turned up to join in the lantern parade at the company’s flagship township, Setia Alam.

Young children were taught the art of making traditional lanterns as well as paintings of colourful paper umbrellas.

The adults were also seen to enjoying their time at the event as some are seen reminiscing their childhood pastime activities at the nostalgic games booth featuring games of yesteryears such as marbles, spinning tops, bottle caps and other traditional games.

It was an equally joyous get-together at Setia EcoHill in Semenyih as members of Citizen Setia were entertained by traditional drummers from Exodrums, Chinese orchestra as well as jazz bands throughout the event.

Meanwhile, Setia Eco Templer in Rawang offered a mesmerising sight with the lighted giant rabbits, giant moon and lanterns display for the visitors.

The celebrations were also a momentous one in other Setia communities including Setia Eco Glades in Cyberjaya, KL Eco City, Setia Eco Cascadia in Johor, TRIO by Setia in Bukit Tinggi and Setia SPICE in Penang.

The month-long Mid Autumn ‘Magical Reunion’ celebration will be now focused on their next stop as Setia Eco Park as well as Aeropod in Kota Kinabalu will be joining in the bandwagon in hosting special events in their respective townships on Oct 7.
