PETALING JAYA: SkyWorld Development Group recently announced the commencement of the first ever Quality Centre in Malaysia.
The groundbreaking ceremony marked another significant milestone to gain the support from its purchasers and business associates. The SkyWorld Quality Centre is the first-of-its-kind in Malaysia and acts as a benchmark for quality construction for all SkyWorld developments. The centre signifies SkyWorld commitments to QLASSIC and CONQUAS quality assessment.
Present to grace and officiate the momentous event, Minister of Works Malaysia Datuk Seri Haji Fadillah said SkyWorld is breaking new grounds by kick-starting the first Quality Centre by SkyWorld in Malaysia.

“SkyWorld is one of the biggest contributors of Rumah Mampu Milik Wilayah Persekutuan (RUMAWIP) in Kuala Lumpur. RUMAHWIP, a government housing CSR programme which was founded to provide affordable homes for city dwellers.
“I am also proud to know that SkyWorld’s popular SkyAwani affordable home series will be in compliance with the QLASSIC standards and that the Ministry of Works together with Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) will give the full support to SkyWorld in their quest to increase a higher quality standard, ” he added.
SkyWorld will provide a showcase of quality workmanships such as the wall or floor evenness versus the uneven wall or floor surface besides identifying quality shortcomings that consumers might not be able to identify visually.
The centre is earmarked for completion in this September with 10 functional areas such as the SkyWorld lounge, a mini auditorium and a comprehensive show unit consisting of living room, bedroom, yard, balcony, corridor, staircase, kitchen and bathroom.
“As a responsible property developer, we always strive to provide more value-added features to our products. Purchasers are becoming savvier and are getting more selective. So besides offering innovative, location-centric, various facilities and amenities, one important aspect is quality assurance in providing quality homes for our buyers and investors.
“This SkyWorld Quality Centre is a big move as it is the endorsement of quality developments by SkyWorld. The centre can also be used as a training and education ground for our staff as well as a sharing hub for our consultants and engineers, university students, prospective home buyers and also for the public who want to know more about the quality of construction in Malaysia.” said SkyWorld founder and group managing director Datuk Ng Thien Phing.
Also present to officiate the groundbreaking ceremony was Setiawangsa MP Datuk Ahmad Fauzi Zahari, chief operation officer Lee Chee Seng and chief financial officer Siew Chee Seng.
With a good track record, SkyWorld is poised to perform well in its future projects. Many of its future developments are mainly focused within the Kuala Lumpur region further .
SkyWorld is set to transform the city, one development at a time with over 130 acres of quality land banks totalling more than RM13bil in gross development value.
