PETALING JAYA: Samsung Malaysia Electronics (Samsung) has announced the launch of the Samsung Bespoke AI Home, which is now available for a first-hand experience at The Camelia show unit in Gamuda Cove, Selangor. Samsung and The Camelia’s developer, Gamuda Land, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in April this year to integrate AI into the development at Gamuda Cove.

The semi-detached show unit features SmartThings, an IoT hub platform that allows effortless monitoring, controlling, and tracking of appliances, ensuring they work harmoniously and conserve energy in real-time. SmartThings helps homeowners reduce their carbon footprint and make more eco-friendly choices in their daily lives. It is integrated with the AI voice assistant Bixby, providing hands-free, convenient commands upon entering the unit.

In the living room, several flagship Samsung appliances are showcased, such as The Frame and Lifestyle Soundbar with Subwoofer, both synced with Q-Symphony to harmonize sound from both devices.

The kitchen is equipped with the Side By Side Refrigerator Family Hub, featuring a versatile interface that allows users to share vibrant visuals, personalized messages, and schedules directly on the screen. The appliance also includes a View Inside internal camera for a real-time view of the fridge’s contents, All Around Cooling to maintain an even temperature in each compartment, and SpaceMax™ Technology, which utilizes thinner walls to create more food storage space.

Household chores are made easier with the Bespoke Jet Bot Combo™ Steam, a robot vacuum cleaner with AI Floor Detect, and the Bespoke AI Laundry Combo™, a washer with technology that optimises bubble generation, wash mode by weight, and heat for drying.

To maintain a comfortable indoor climate, the living and dining areas are equipped with the WindFree™ Air Conditioner Inverter 1-Way Cassette, while other spaces feature the WindFree™ Air Conditioner Premium Plus, which effectively maintains optimal cooling levels. Built with WindFree™ technology, these air conditioners eliminate the discomfort of direct wind, provide efficient energy savings, and cool large spaces quickly.

“The Samsung Bespoke AI Home at The Camelia, Gamuda Cove represents our vision for the future of home appliances, unlocking new opportunities through innovations in efficiency, connectivity, and personalization. Together with Gamuda Land, we are offering homeowners a glimpse into the future of hyper-connected smart homes,” said Samsung president Denny Kim.

Also present was Gamuda Land chief executive officer Chu Wai Lune.
