KUALA LUMPUR, 02 May 2017 – Konsortium Lebuhraya Utara – Timur (KL) Sdn Bhd (KESTURI) would like to advise all road users in Taman Bukit Maluri and Bandar Menjalara to use the alternative road diversion near Sekolah Menengah Agama Kuala Lumpur (SMAKL). Road users who are travelling towards Sri Damansara (SD01-SD05) are advice to use the signalized junction underneath the Sungai Buloh / Lebuhraya Damansara Puchong (LDP) flyover and make a right turning into Persiaran Jati.
Road users who are heading towards Sungai Buloh are advised to use the alternative road by heading up the flyover near Sekolah Menengah Agama Kuala Lumpur (SMAKL) towards Kepong.
Road users are advised to use the exits near BHP / Petron station and head towards the traffic light. From there, road users can make a U-turn at Jalan Kepong Garden (near Kompleks Desa Kepong) to turn back for Sungai Buloh.
DUKE 2 road closure - alternative road map.
The temporary road closure will be commencing in stages from 1st May 2017 until 30th September 2017 (for 24 hours), due to the construction of a flyover works for the DUTA ULU-KELANG EXPRESSWAY (DUKE) PHASE 2 Project.
The road closure need to be extended due to several factors such as technical problems at the construction site, soil condition, utilities removal and relocation, coordination issues and other unexpected additional works.
The Concession Company, Konsortium Lebuhraya Utara – Timur (KL) Sdn Bhd (KESTURI) advise all road users to drive cautiously along the construction work area and to adhere to all traffic signs placed at the construction sites and traffic officers, manning the areas.
