The sports facilities at the field in Jalan Beberek, Kepong Baru, will be completed next month.

Residents will soon be able to enjoy upgraded facilities at a field located along Jalan Beberek, Kepong Baru.

Kepong Community Service Centre head Yee Poh Ping said work on the project began last month and it is expected to be completed next month.

“The jogging track, five-piece gym set and seven benches cost RM70,000. I would like to thank Kuala Lumpur City Hall for upgrading the field.

“I hope residents in the area will take good care of the facilities,” he said during a press conference there.

“Some would be out exercising as early as 5am when it is still dark,” he said, adding the field would help promote a healthier lifestyle and strengthen the relationship among residents.
