PETALING JAYA: Perbadanan PR1MA Malaysia (PR1MA)’s proposed iconic Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) projects is hoped to aid the transformation of urban housing development.
Details of PR1MA TOD:
- The first phase of PR1MA TOD is scheduled to start in the fourth quarter of 2018
- Involves two locations along the LRT line network, which are Cempaka and Pandan Jaya, followed by Pandan Indah
- A mixed development concept that would cater to various income groups
- Focuses on social integration and social inclusivity
- Aims to create vibrant, livable, and sustainable communities in urban areas
- Hopes to open up more jobs and business opportunities for the locals
“We see PR1MA as an agency that delivers more than just brick and mortar. PR1MA homes would be the foundation for strong, integrated and harmonious communities that would grow into townships that meet social, environmental and economic sustainability objectives while at the same time ensuring that PR1MA itself is sustainable from a financial and economic standpoint,” said PR1MA chief executive officer Datuk Abdul Mutalib Alias in a statement.
