ISO 9001:2015 Certification for its Quality Management System (QMS) in Marketing & Sales
PETALING JAYA: Perbadanan PR1MA Malaysia (PR1MA) announced that it has successfully received the new ISO 9001:2015 for its Quality Management System (QMS) in Marketing & Sales of PR1MA Homes by QE Certification and United Kingdom Accreditation Services (UKAS), a national accreditation body in the United Kingdom.
According to the statement, the certification was awarded to PR1MA in recognition of the organisation’s success in meeting and exceeding the rigorous international standards in quality management to deliver quality homes for the middle-income (M40) group in Malaysia.
“We are pleased to receive the ISO 9001:2015 certification. This recognition will further motivate us to improve and enhance our delivery to customers,” said PR1MA chief executive officer Datuk Abdul Mutalib bin Alias.
“In fact, our goal is to make PR1MA homes the foundation for the creation of integrated and harmonious communities which will eventually grow into townships that meet social, environmental and economic sustainability objectives,” he added.
In addition to the certification, PR1MA introduced a Quality Policy that focuses on a results-driven transformation to maintain and enhance its marketing processes in order to achieve total customer satisfaction.
Meanwhile, all PR1MA homes are also assessed using the Quality Assessment in Construction (QLASSIC) system. It is a system to measure and evaluate the artistry quality of a building construction based on the Construction Industry Standard (CIS), through a scoring system.
As of Oct 31, 2017, PR1MA Members of Corporation have approved the development of 259,881 units of PR1MA homes nationwide of which 141,417 units are in various stages of construction.
