SHAH ALAM: Niro Ceramic Group, a leader in the global tile and construction material industry, has unveiled its newly designed showroom today. This opening, coupled with the launch of the company’s latest product series, highlights Niro Ceramic Group’s commitment to driving innovation in the rapidly evolving tile industry.
With modern living spaces demanding more versatility and sustainability, tile design trends have shifted towards larger slabs and natural aesthetics. Niro Ceramic Group’s new showroom showcases this trend with its stunning display of big slab tiles, offering a luxurious yet functional design that reflects the company’s vision of Bringing Joy to People Through Their Living Space.
“Our new showroom is more than just a display of our products; it’s a reflection of where the industry is headed,” said Niro Ceramic Group managing director Ian Kok. “With an increasing emphasis on sustainable materials and larger tile formats, we are excited to present designs that meet these demands while still delivering beauty and quality.”
The showroom opening featured an energetic drum roll, leading into a lively ribbon-cutting ceremony and a traditional lion dance performance. This was followed by a talk from Veritas Design Group vice president Lilian Tay, who shared her insights on Reconnecting Our City, offering a compelling perspective that enriched the occasion.
“We are incredibly proud to launch this showroom, which represents our commitment to pushing the boundaries of design and sustainability,” added Niro Ceramic Group chief operating officer David Tan. “It is not just a space for showcasing our products but a creative hub where ideas come to life. We believe this environment will inspire our customers to imagine new possibilities for their own spaces.”
As a testament to the company’s environmental responsibility, Niro Ceramic Group has achieved a verified Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) for its tiles. This third-party certification provides transparency regarding the environmental impact of their products across their entire lifecycle. The Alps feature wall, built entirely from leftover tiles, further symbolises this dedication to reducing waste and promoting the creative reuse of materials.
The grand opening also introduced Niro Ceramic Group’s latest product series, blending design trends with durability. These include Troy and Arden from the Slip-Stop series, which offer superior slip resistance, especially when wet. Canova and Verona feature micro-structured surfaces that are highly scratch-resistant and long-lasting, perfect for high-traffic areas. The Stellar series adds a luxurious touch with its embossed, glossy effect.
Meanwhile, Zirconio XO Slab and Zirconio Stone launched new big slabs and sintered stone designs, offering versatile options for creating elegant atmospheres, perfect for tabletops, countertops, and other surface applications.
The showroom experience is further enhanced by Creative Lab, Niro Ceramic Group’s retail arm where clients can access consultation services and instant 3D product visualisations, helping them envision how Niro Ceramic Group’s products can transform their spaces. Adjacent to the Creative Lab is the Orin Bathroom Architecture section, where visitors can interact with products such as taps with varying water flows and innovative rain showers, reflecting the growing trend towards experiential showrooms in the design industry.
