There will be nearly 3,000 properties for sale at the second Malaysia Property Expo (MAPEX II) in Pahang from July 28 to 30.
The total value of properties available at the fair totals more than RM1bil.
Real Estate and Housing Developers Association Malaysia (Rehda) Pahang chairman Chua Say Chai said visitors can choose from single-storey houses to bungalows, whichever catches their interest.
“Now is a good time to invest in property in Kuantan with many major projects emerging in the city,” said Chua at the Rehda Pahang branch secretariat office here.
He singled out projects such as the East Coast Railway Line (ECRL), Malaysia-China Kuantan Industrial Park (MCKIP) and Kuantan Port which will increase job opportunities and bring more people into Kuantan.
Chua added that the lowest prices of properties range around RM150,000 in Pahang.
He also assured buyers that the developers at the fair are established and members of Rehda.
“Developers will also be offering promotions at the fair.”
He added that many are buying properties in Kuantan and that they hope to make at least RM200mil in total sales.
“There will also be door gifts for those visiting the fair on a first-come, first-served basis,” he said.
He added that those who buy property at the fair will be able to participate in a lucky draw and stand a chance to win prizes.
There will be up to RM20,000 worth of prizes to be won in the lucky draw.
The top prizes include a handphone and a tablet, as well as electrical appliances and vouchers.
