A WORKSHOP to discuss housing problems will be held following the high demand for homes in the Federal Territories.
Federal Territories Minister Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor said housing problems was one of the issues discussed at the meeting with Federal Territories members of parliament in Putrajaya yesterday.
“There is a need for affordable housing in the Federal Territories, especially in Kuala Lumpur.
“The workshop will be held with Federal Territories and Kuala Lumpur City Hall officers soon,” he told reporters after chairing the meeting.
He added that the main agenda for the meeting was to discuss problems faced by the residents in Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya and Labuan.
“We have the meeting annually to listen to the problems from the MPs, so that the ministry and our agencies can solve them,” said Tengku Adnan, who is also the Putrajaya MP.
He added that the meeting was the ministry’s way of engaging with the MPs and getting their feedback on the well-being of the residents.
All 13 Federal Territories MPs were present during the meeting.
