PETALING JAYA: SP Setia Bhd Group North Division kick-started the Chinese New Year 2018 celebration with its latest eco-themed township, Setia Fontaines. SP Setia hosted an open house at the Auto City in Juru, Penang over the weekend.
Around 1,000 guests from all walks of life attended the event and joined in the celebration. A majority of the guests had registered earlier for the ‘Giant Lou Sang’ event for a chance to partake in the traditional tossing of yee sang displayed on huge tables. The first 300 guests to the event received special gifts.
Participants were also entertained by Chinese orchestra, acrobatic and traditional dances as well as a traditional ‘Si Chuan’ mask changing production.
In the lucky draw session, a total of 26 winners walked away with gold coins. The main prize went to Lau Wen Sze who won a cash prize of RM2,018.
According to the statement, Setia Fontaines general manager Ricky Yeo highlighted Setia Fontaines would be conducting a rally celebration which will run from Feb 3 to Mar 3.
Those who missed the lucky draw session at the event will still stand a chance to win gold bars weighing 10 grams and gold coins on the last day of the celebration in another round of lucky draw.
