Great honour: Leong has been conferred the Lifetime Achievement Award for Leadership in Property Development.
PETALING JAYA: Mah Sing Group Bhd group managing director Tan Sri Leong Hoy Kum has been conferred the Lifetime Achievement Award for Leadership in Property Development at the Eighth World Chinese Economic Summit.
In receiving the award, Leong said the company’s success was down to the support of a passionate and dedicated team that constantly worked towards greater achievements.
“Being in the property business for over 22 years, we have built up a strong portfolio of projects. Today, with 13 completed projects and 33 still ongoing throughout Malaysia, I can confidently say that Mah Sing has accomplished what it set out to do at the start.”
The Lifetime Achievement Award recognises the leadership of individuals who have contributed to both society and their respective industries.
Leong was also named Entrepreneur of the Year at the Asean Business Awards Malaysia 2016, Asian Corporate Director of the Year 2015 by Corporate Governance Asia, Brandpreneur Life Inspired Achievement Award at The Brandlaureate Special Edition World Award 2015 and Best CEO (Investor Relations) at the 5th Asian Excellence Award 2015.
He was also presented with the Lifetime Excellence Achievement Award at the Sin Chew Business Excellence Award 2016.
