Mah Sing celebrates CNY with open houses and festive films
Kuala Lumpur: In celebration of Chinese New Year (CNY), property developer Mah Sing Group Bhd (Mah Sing) is hosting open houses across multiple sales galleries nationwide, as well as producing CNY films for the season.
The open houses have activities such as lion dance performances, children’s activities, 24 seasons drum shows, singing and live band performances, God of Fortune appearances, Yee-Sang tossing, and other CNY activities.
“Chinese New Year is all about reunion with friends and families. It is great to be able to gather with friends and families again to enjoy the celebration. Spending quality time with family during this festive season is more important than ever. Hence, we offer a variety of events that appeal to all, and everyone is welcome to join us in celebrating the Chinese New Year at any of our nationwide sales galleries,” Mah Sing founder and group managing director Tan Sri Leong Hoy Kum said.
Mah Sing’s festive film, titled A Truly Reunion Dinner follows the theme of the three taboos in CNY tradition; no sweeping, no breaking of items, and no fighting in conjunction with the season. Its other production, a CNY music video titled titled《Happy 兔年兔U》(Rabbit Year To You), includes Malaysian couple singers Xie Wen and Bao En, as well as Malaysian singer Crystal Liew Yen Yen. The song was written by Malaysian composer and lyricist Tee Kok Leong.
Leong and his wife, Puan Sri Sulvian Leong, were also present in the music video.
