KUALA LUMPUR: Property developer Mah Sing Group Bhd (Mah Sing) and digital payments platform Fave have partnered to allow home buyers to go cashless while paying their booking fee with FavePay and be rewarded with AirAsia BIG Points, recently.
Mah Sing’s collaboration with Fave will provide convenience to home buyers to pay their deposit for selected projects across Malaysia with the Fave mobile app.
“This partnership marks the property developer’s ambitious adoption of digital initiatives in every part of the property journey; from sales and marketing, construction management and quality assurance, customer experience and engagement to property management,'' said Mah Sing Group director of group strategy and operations Lionel Leong.
“Technology has influenced almost every aspect of consumer behaviour and purchase habits. Malaysians already have the highest consumer awareness within the region, not to mention high smartphone penetration and mobile data usage which leads to a growing demand for cashless solutions.
“This collaboration with Fave is another such step in Mah Sing’s digital innovation drive to meet the changing demands of consumers,” said Mah Sing Group director of group strategy and operations Rachel Leong.
Today together we take one more step forward towards the vision of cashless Malaysia, where Malaysians can use their Fave app not only to pay for a dinner at the restaurant or purchase a new TV set, now they can also pay bookings fees for their new home with the convenience of simply scanning QR code and receive rewards,” said Fave Co-founder Chen Chow Yeoh, in a statement.
