Double joy as group celebrates anniversary as developer and listing on the stock exchange
PETALING JAYA: It was a night of glitz and glamour as LBS Bina Group Bhd celebrated its 25th anniversary as a property developer and the group’s 15th anniversary of listing on Bursa Malaysia’s main board.
More than 1,300 guests attended the gala dinner themed “Let’s Sail in Style on Board the LBS Royal Cruise”.
According to statement, the event was graced by guests of honour, The Regent of Pahang, Duli Yang Maha Mulia, Pemangku Raja Pahang, Tengku Mahkota Abdullah Al-Haj Ibni Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Al-Musta'in Billah and China’s ambassador to Malaysia Dr Huang Huikang.
The guests were treated to traditional Chinese cuisine while being entertained throughout the night by a live band and a special performance by local songstress Syafinaz Selamat.
LBS recorded its highest appreciation with constant support through the years, especially from Tengku Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah’s supportive role during the launch of the Cameron Golden Hills development in Cameron Highlands.
Huang also recommended LBS Bina Group Bhd managing director Tan Sri Lim Hock San to be the sole Malaysian representative to attend China's 2017 annual parliamentary and consultative sessions, popularly known as Lianghui.
“Our journey in the property development industry over the past 25 years had been full of adventure. I believe the success and growth we enjoy today is made possible by the firm foundation set by our chairman Datuk Seri Lim Bock Seng, coupled with the steady support of our partners, employees, media friends and customers.
“Moving forward, I am confident of achieving our targets, especially our RM1.5bil sales target for 2017, and excited about our continuous expansion plans as we welcome ML Global Bhd into the group as our subsidiary,” said Lim.
