MENARA Mitraland, the corporate tower that houses the headquarters of Mitraland Group, is now officially open.
Standing as the tallest structure in Kota Damansara, the opening of the 30-storey-high building marks a significant milestone for the property developer.
“The company was established in 1998, and as we expanded, we shifted to Taman Segar in Cheras then to Mont Kiara in 2008.
“This latest move represents our growth and evolution from where we will continue to innovate for customers,” said Mitraland Group general manager Eddie Wong.
To celebrate the opening, Mitraland held a two-day sales carnival for members of the public over the weekend, offering special prices for its developments.
Menara Mitraland is part of the new Cascades mixed development in Kota Damansara, which includes residential, retail and office components.
Work on the development started in 2009 and was completed ahead of schedule last year,” explained Mitraland sales and marketing senior manager Carmen Mah.
She said the retail and residential units have mostly been taken up while the office building has a more than 50% occupancy rate now.
Wong said the opening was one of the highlights to an exciting year for the company.
“We have an international project going on in Melbourne, while there are two new mixed developments in the Klang Valley, including Gravit8 in Klang and another mixed-use project in Semenyih,” he said.
He added that the developer’s current projects, including the 16 Quartz residential development in Melawati was almost ready to be handed over while the Vina Versatile Homes in Cheras was slated for completion early next year.
