PETALING JAYA:JKG Land Bhd is launching the first phase of The Era@Duta North today, offering 921 units within two blocks of residential towers named Dawn. The first 50 purchasers will be offered a special 5%+3% discount as an early bird promotion.
With a gross development value (GDV) of RM583mil, the units offered range from 614 to 2,928 sq ft at an average of RM600 per sq ft. The selling price starts from RM375,900. The expected completion date is within fours years.
Located in the mature township of Segambut, The Era is a freehold mixed development by JKG Central Park Sdn Bhd spanning across 11 acres of land. The first three phases, Dawn, Noon and Eve, will consist of six residential towers at 53 to 63 storeys high, a three-storey retail development, six acres of landscaped Forest Village and wetlands.
Speaking at the preview, JKG Land managing director Datuk Teh Kean Ming said the company is targeting to achieve a take-up rate of 75% this year, which will also propel the launch of phase 2, another two residential blocks themed Noon.

The amenities and facilities include a 100-metre pool, hanging pavilions, adventure trails, water maze, tree houses, special gourmet kitchens, as well as a link bridge that provides direct connection through Jalan Putramas and Dutamas 2 to Publika, Dutamas, Solaris and so on.
The GDV of the three phases, offering a total of 2900 units, is approximately RM2.5bil with a completion date within 10 years.
It will also include commercial units along Fiesta Walk - a three-storey, 277,000 sq ft interconnected retail area. Inspired by European hilltop market towns, it is conceptualised to offer the ultimate retail therapy of strolling through a “High Street” boulevard of numerous outlets for shopping and alfresco dining.
The development is located within 10km distance from Matrade, Mont Kiara, Kuala Lumpur city centre and others.
