Layouts of the units at Tropicana Bay Residences offer functionality and aesthetics
Since its establishment in 1999, Ivory Properties Group has grown to become one of the prominent players in the northern region of Peninsular Malaysia by embarking on building sustainable developments for consumers.
The company’s project portfolio includes medium-cost to high-end apartments, luxury condominiums, semi-D’s and bungalows, boutique gated communities, as well as retail and commercial units.
One such development is the newly-built Tropicana Bay Residences in Bayan Lepas on Penang Island. With a gross development value (GDV) of RM935mil, it is the largest single-phase luxury condominium on the island.
The development is a joint-venture between the company and Tropicana Corporation Bhd.
Tropicana Bay Residences was awarded Merit in The Small Is BIG Award category presented by by StarProperty.my Awards 2018 for capitalising on the lack of space with a clutter-free, minimalist approach to the development.
Completed last year on a 10-acre site, the development comprises six 22-storey residential towers that house 1,343 units with sizes ranging from 400sq ft to 1,945sq ft. The homes sell from RM478,900 to RM1,663,900 each.
The condominium is equipped with community facilities such as badminton court, tennis court, squash court, mini-theatre, and more. An elevated facilities level allows residents to enjoy the view during their recreational activities.
With a holistic approach to space planning, the developer has taken into account the functionality and aesthetics of each unit layout. The project is focused on sustainability and interpersonal connection of the condo’s community.
Positioned atop a terraced slope surrounded by lush greenery, the development offers breathtaking views especially from an elevated swimming pool that overlooks the city.
In terms of connectivity, residents will be able to commute from Bayan Lepas with ease because the high-rise sits at the gateway of the island right off the Penang Bridge and the Tun Dr Lim Chong Eu Expressway.
The project is targeted at young adults and those who seek convenience when travelling to work in other parts of the island or on the mainland.
Frequent flyers and expatriates will appreciate the location of Tropicana Bay Residences which is a few minutes’ drive from the Penang International Airport. Also close by are Universiti Sains Malaysia, the Bayan Lepas free trade zone, and the Queensbay shopping mall.
