KUALA LUMPUR: IQI’s subsidiary MyKey Global is actively moving in to the market of short-term rental management, with a plan to add 500 suites to its inventory.
MyKey Global group chief executive officer Dave Chong yesterday signed an agreement with Exsim head of corporate communication Michelle Siew. MyKey will be operating the 300 units of Expressionz Professional Suites that offers luxurious experience to its short-term guests.
The event marked the closer collaboration between IQI and Exsim Group.
IQI, an expanding real estate and investment firm based in Dubai, bought 33,000 sq ft of office space to house IQI’s Asia Pacific Command Centre. Value at RM30mil, the office space is located at Millerz Square at Old Klang Road, which is another project by Exsim Group.
IQI group chief executive officer Kashif Ansari and Siew signed the acquisition of the office space. Also present at the event was IQI chief financial officer Shahid Saleem.
Millerz Square@OKR is the first mixed development by Exsim Group offering five blocks of high-rises.
It consists of one strata office tower with 336 units of office suites together and four blocks of serviced apartments with a total of 1,633 units.
Entering Asia market since 2012, IQI has selected Malaysia as its base of operations before expanding into Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam and Philippines.
“Today, IQI, with its international and innovative platform, has taken the next leap in our expansion in this region with the new project,” said Kashif.
In the press conference, Siew said IQI has being the first purchaser in their office tower offered at Millerz Square and she has high hopes for IQI’s future expansion.
