ONE of the many initiatives SEGi has to ensure graduating students obtain a successful career is the establishment of the SEGi Career Office.

This is the department whose objective is to form Valued Corporate Partnerships (VCP), a partnership programme by invitation from SEGi to form a diverse network with major companies to establish strategic partnerships. This means students will be able to intern or graduates are able to gain job interviews and perhaps employment at these companies.

Through the SEGi Career Office, SEGi can be part of recruiting and retaining talents at the workplace and work with employers to develop future employees.

In a ceremony at SEGi University in Kota Damansara, Selangor on Tuesday 13 June 2017, SEGi welcomed Hartamas Real Estate Group to be their Valued Corporate Partner (VCP) to link the company with final year students for internships and graduating students with job opportunities.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed. SEGi University was represented by its vice chancellor, Professor Dr Patrick Kee Peng Kong while Hartamas Real Estate Group was represented by its associate director, Mr Christopher Chan.
