KUALA LUMPUR: Two developments from S P Setia were honoured by the Malaysia Landscape Architecture Awards (MLAA) for their designs at the awards ceremony last night.
According to the statement, Elizabeth Falls and Victoria Springs in Setia Eco Park received MLAA’s Excellence Award under the Landscape Development Award - Developer & GLC Category as a recognition for its Renewal Clean Energy Application for landscape features. Also, Setia EcoHill 2 in Semenyih won MLAA’s Honour Award for the township’s Adventure Park in the same award category.
“With the help of recognised Eco-advisers, S P Setia who pioneers in Eco-landscape has successfully created a truly sustainable landscape in Setia Eco Park that also serves as an ideal habitat for fish, butterflies, birds and other friendly creatures.
“The development’s prominent landscape of Elizabeth Falls and Victoria Springs together with its renewal clean energy application of hybrid solar power system with approximately 1-8mw is testament to the sustainability values embraced by S P Setia,” said Koe.
According to him, the Adventure park is another proud landmark of the Setia EcoHill 2 township, after the successful launch of South Creek, a recreational park that has hundreds of visitors daily made up of residents as well as members of the communities from other townships nearby.
“With much of the natural landscape left intact, Adventure Park sets the perfect environment for outdoor activities for the community, offering an avenue of thrill and excitement for those who appreciate nature,” said S P Setia executive vice president Datuk Tan Hon Lim.
