Eco Horizon and Eco Terraces set to spice up Penang’s Landscape
Two projects by Eco World Development Group are causing a stir up north in the state of Penang. The first is Eco Horizon, EcoWorld’s largest project on the mainland, which bagged The Northern Star award at the recently held StarProperty.my Awards 2018.
Spanning 300 acres, Eco Horizon is the first gated and guarded residential development in Batu Kawan. The project is surrounded by thriving industries and a growing population.
The township development boasts four collections – Ashton, Brydon, Camdon and Dawson – which are all landed properties.
The Ashton Collection comprises two-storey homes with three distinct layouts. The unit price is from RM848,000 for a built-up area of 2,290 sq ft.
Brydon, which will be launched this year, comprises Semi-D’s and bungalows.
The township is gated with a 10ft-high perimeter fencing displaying the project’s logo. Among the many safety features is a double boom gate.
Eco Horizon adopts an open concept for all its homes as a way to promote community living. The backyard of each unit features a 20 sq ft garden and residents get to enjoy a jogging path amid lush greenery.
The development is easily accessible via the North-South Highway and the Second Penang Bridge. Existing and future amenities nearby include Ikea, Penang Design Village and educational institutions such as University of Hull and KDU.
The other EcoWorld project in Penang is Eco Terraces, which won The Family Friendly Award at the StarProperty.my Awards 2018 event.
This luxury gated and guarded condominium is located in Paya Terubong on Penang Island and is easily accessible from the mainland via the two Penang bridges.
Standing on 12.79 acres, Eco Terraces offers a range of facilities including The Lawn for green activities, The Commune for BBQ functions and clubhouse amenities, The Mesa for residents to enjoy the infinity pool, and The Trail for light walking.
An eye-catching waterfall brings the development to life as it reflects the serenity of nature. While residents enjoy the facilities, they can be assured of safety because of the five-tier security system comprising CCTVs and perimeter fencing.
Eco Terraces is among the new developments that has obtained the Green Building Index accreditation, making it a certified green development in Malaysia with 70% of greenery and 30% of the land area taken up by the building.
The condominium has four types of units: Type A (measuring 1,095 sq ft), Type B (1,366 sq ft), Type C (1,520 sq ft with dual key), Type D (2,008 sq ft duplex).
The development is targeted for completion in 2019.
