KUALA LUMPUR: Damansara Realty Bhd (DBhd) has unveiled its 5.75-acre Damansara Hills project in Kuantan which comprises terrace and semi-detached residential homes.
The Main Board-listed company said Damansara Hills comprises 39 terraces and 10 semi-detached units, each with built-up areas of 2,404 square feet and 2,659 square feet, respectively.
“The development aims to provide home owners with greater privacy, security and a greener lifestyle. All units are connected to a bicycle track and a 1.42-acre park. Prices start from RM466,000,” it said.
Pahang State Executive Councillor for Health, Human Resources and Special State Duties Datuk Norol Azali Sulaiman had on Saturday officially launched the project. It is expected to be completed by May 2018.
DBhd said the project, which is in Bandar Damansara, is near some of the East Coast Economic Region Special Economic Zone. Damansara Hills is a 15-minute drive to the Gebeng Integrated Petrochemical Complex and a 25-minute drive to Kuantan Port – and tourist attractions such as Cherating and Teluk Chempadak beach.
The launch of the project reveals the company’s is scaling up the size and scope of its property development projects while building up capabilities in integrated facilities management.
“Revenue contribution from the Damansara Hills project is expected to commence in the first half of 2017. This is DBhd’s first property project on its 500-acre land parcel in the state and the group has plans to progressively develop other projects in the area,” it said.
DBhd’s group CEO Brian Iskandar Zulkarim said: “The concept for Damansara Hills is to provide home owners with private and wholesome living surrounded bylush greenery.
“This project marks our first venture in Kuantan and will play a role in enhancing our revenue pipeline as we build the Group’s profile as a reputable developer.
“There are many exciting developments happening in Kuantan which promises to spur thestate’s GDP such as the upcoming East Coast Rail Line connecting Kuala Lumpur to Pahang.
“Strategically located near the East Coast’s economic zones and tourist attractions, we are confident that Damansara Hills will be a dwelling choice for many,” he added.
DBhd recently held the launch for Central Park, a new 53-acre integrated township in Johor Bahru. Central Park is a joint venture between the DBhd and Country Garden Holdings Company Ltd.
