Infrastructure upgrade expected to be completed by Q1 next year
JOHOR: Construction work of the direct access road connecting seafront mixed integrated complex, Meridin Bayvue in Sierra Perdana by developer Mah Sing Group Bhd to the Johor Bahru East Coast Highway had commenced earlier this month after obtaining approval from local authorities.
The new road is expected to be completed by Q1 2019.
Upon completion, the new access will shorten the travel time for Meridin Bayvue’s residents and retailers.
It will also enhance the connectivity of the development by shortening the travel distance between Johor Bahru East Coast highway and Meridin Bayvue to approximately 12 km.
Not only that, it is also possible for residents to reach areas such as Kawasan Perindustrian Pasir Gudang, Johor Bahru City Centre, Sultan Iskandar Customs, Immigration and Quarantine Complex (CIQ) and neighbouring Singapore.
Mah Sing’s chief executive officer, Datuk Ho Hon Sang said, “We are glad to announce the construction work for the direct access road to Meridin Bayvue has started.
"Our buyers and the surrounding community will be able to benefit from the road once completed as it provides easy access into our development and enhances the connectivity to nearby areas.
"At Mah Sing, we are always committed to enhance the living conditions of our buyers, be it through value-added services, high-quality facilities or infrastructure developments, he said.
Ho also added that investing in infrastructure is essential for the long-term development of the area as it helps to sustain the daily community activities and provide the convenience for users.
"The enhanced connectivity will be a plus point for Meridin Bayvue and contributes to the increasing value of the project.
"This will further promote Meridin Bayvue as a sustainable development that offers seafront living with excellent facilities at a price range that many can afford," he ended.
Meridin Bayvue is a freehold property located constructed by Mah Sing Group Bhd at Sierra Perdana’s commercial area fronting the coastal highway from Pasir Gudang to Johor Bahru City Centre and is comprised of four towers; two Covil towers and two Caspian towers.

The serviced apartments sit on a 10 acres freehold land with in-house facilities and a retail podium of 93 units of lifestyle retail lots with built ups up to 1,851 sq ft.
The entire residential project has a take-up rate of 70%.
Covil Tower is now available for viewing at Meridin Bayvue Sales Gallery, with the units priced starting from RM437,000.
