PETALING JAYA: SkyWorld Development Group (SkyWorld) received its first Quality Assessment System in Construction (Qlassic) certification for achieving 76% score for its first residential project, Ascenda Residences at SkyArena, Setapak.
The Qlassic certificate was presented by Construction Quality & Safety Division of Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) general manager Razuki Ibrahim and manager Chuang Kuang Hong. Representing SkyWorld to receive the certificate was SkyWorld chief operating officer Lee Chee Seng.
In a statement, Lee said the Qlassic award is a testament to SkyWorld’s quality pledge in successfully delivering quality homes.
“As an emerging developer, building our first project is always a challenge. And building our first project following Qlassic standards and getting it completed three months ahead of schedule is even a bigger challenge. Our dedicated project and quality assurance team managed to pull this off, ” Lee added.
Qlassic is a system and method used by CIDB to assess and evaluate the quality of building workmanships based on the Construction Industry Standard in Malaysia.
Ascenda Residences is SkyWorld’s first property development in Malaysia offering 650 condominium units on a 3.35-acre land. It holds a gross development value of RM399mil.
