StarProperty.my Buyers’ Sentiment Survey 2017 has come to an end. We would like to say a big THANK YOU to all readers for your participation and enthusiasm.
A total of 6,000 Malaysians participated in StarProperty.my’s Buyers’ Sentiment Survey which was held over the span of three months beginning mid-September to mid-December.
Out of the 6,000 respondents, 53.07% are first-time homebuyers, 19.46% are upgraders, while the remaining 27.47% are investors.
Some interesting finds from the survey are:
- 71.53% would not live in a place where it takes one or two hours of commute.
- 54.85% would not buy a property where the previous occupant had died in the said property, but 21.19% would still go for it!
- 57.12% are NOT aware that all real estate negotiators must now wear the authorised tag issued by Board of Valuers, Appraisers and Estate Agents (BOVAEA) when conducting business.
