UMLand's Media Bowling Night
PETALING JAYA: United Malayan Land Bhd (UMLand) had organised a friendly “UMLand Media Bowling Night Competition” with 54 players in 18 teams from various media organisations.
“We thought it might be a good idea to promote camaraderie among members of the media and also for us to get to know more friends in the industry, especially in a fun and casual environment,” said UMLand group managing director Dennis Ng.
UMLand fielded four teams in the event and Ng, himself, participated as a team member.
The evening event ended with Utusan Malaysia, led by Bazli Abdul Rahman, bagging the champion trophy.
Second to fifth places went to China Press, Berita Harian Team B, Harian Metro Team B and New Straits Times Team A, respectively.
