Agile, Fullrich Malaysia inks deal to explore smart property collaboration

KUALA LUMPUR: Agile Real Estate Development (M) Sdn Bhd (Agile) and Fullrich Malaysia Sdn Bhd have inked a deal to develop a smart property mobile application (app). 

Agile sales and marketing director Yelo Yip and Fullrich Malaysia chief executive officer Lim Kar Aik represented their respective companies during the signing ceremony held at Agile Embassy Garden, which was witnessed by Deputy Federal Territories Minister Datuk Seri Jalaluddin Alias.

With the world becoming more mobile and app-oriented, it is necessary for industries to move forward to a more digitised ecosystem. Hence, Agile has embarked on the digitalisation of property development and management by teaming up with Fullrich Malaysia, a fintech solutions company to develop its smart property mobile app. 

As an approved e-money issuer, Fullrich Malaysia provides integrated financial technology payment and white-label mobile application solutions. It offers holistic technology solutions that can be customised to suit any entity across various industries and currently, they have been working with its partner in the education and retail industries on e-Wallet white label mobile apps.

"Agile's first project in Malaysia is Agile Mont Kiara, which was developed and handed over to the respective owners in November 2019. Our ongoing projects, such as Agile Bukit Bintang and Agile Embassy Garden are expected to be handed over within these two years' time, involving RM4 billion in development value. The company aims to triumph in Malaysia by taking the prominent location in Kuala Lumpur as its investment to build an international living community standard," said Yip.

"In this event, the two companies will cooperate to plan and develop a smart property mobile application that focuses on the international community of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, by providing and promoting a convenient community lifestyle, payment channels (especially for foreign residents from other countries, including investors), improve property management services will eventually enhance Kuala Lumpur's international community residences perception. At the same time, a series of digital payment platform concepts are used to drive the improvement of cashless and secured transactions in the community," he added.

Fullrich Malaysia founder Sun Jian Wei said Agile has taken a step forward towards technology advancement by digitising its services and that the company is honoured to be working together with them on this project. 

This partnership provides an incredible opportunity for both organizations to play a role in digitising the property sector. This project not only promotes convenience but also improves household safety, communication and control for Agile's property management and its residents," he said.

Fullrich Malaysia chairman Kamarul Ariffin said both parties will work closely in mutual areas of interest and facilitate each other in developing a technology-embedded property-related and promoting a cashless ecosystem. 

The smart property mobile app concept targets household owners and Agile's property communities, consisting of smart property features such as visitor pass, announcements, home fix, bill payments, social interactions and embedded with e-payment functions for local residents and overseas investors.

"In this context, the signing ceremony and its accompanying action plan bring our work in line with the goals and targets set out in Malaysia's property future outlook, an eco-friendly, futuristic, and digitally connected homes and eventually creating and complimenting Smart City agenda," Kamarul said.

Jalaluddin said Agile has attracted many overseas investors to Kuala Lumpur and played a certain role in boosting the economic development of Kuala Lumpur. “While building high-quality residences for everyone, Agile is also promoting the latest smart technology, convenient commuting, advanced education and multicultural Kuala Lumpur lifestyle on the international platform. As the technical support of this collaboration, Fullrich Malaysia has also provided convenient payment support for many consumers and businesses in different industries in the field of electronic wallet payment, has contributed to the development of the digital economy in Malaysia, and also promoting the latest one of its kind in the field of digital payment technology,” he said.

Jalaluddin hoped that the two companies will work alongside this collaboration for win-win mutual benefits and is looking forward to the smart property mobile app as scheduled, allowing owners and investors to enjoy the smart community life with the latest technology and convenience very soon.

Also present at the event were Malaysia Jiangsu Entrepreneurs Business Association honorary advisor Datuk Seri Tan Choon Hwa, Agile chief executive officer Chai Keng Wai and project manager Tan Pee Giak as well as Fullrich Malaysia founder and director Sun Jianwei and chief operating officer Mohd Radzi Abdul Hamid.
