KUALA LUMPUR: Wyndham Hotel & Resorts was recently appointed as the management company of D’Rapport Residences and Wyndham Acmar Klang Hotel.
The signing ceremony was graced by Minister of Housing and Local Government YB Hajjah Zuraida Binti Kamaruddin, ACMAR Group chairman Datuk Abdul Samad Bin Maharudin, managing director Datuk Steven Tee and executive director Johnson Tee.
D’Rapport Residences is Acmar Group’s flagship luxury condominium development while Wyndham Acmar Klang Hotel will be the Royal Town of Klang’s first upscale hotel.
According to the statement, Wyndham Hotel & Resorts, with around 9,000 properties worldwide is the world’s largest hotel franchisor and provider of hotel management services.
ACMAR Group chief executive officer Alwin Tee said, “Embracing the concept of an oasis in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, D’Rapport Residences is a first-of-its-kind high-end development with spacious design and one of the most comprehensive ranges of facilities for the ideal integrated lifestyle of the 21st century that focuses on fitness, wellness and environmental sustainability.”
Wyndham Hotel & Resorts SEA, Pacific-rim, president Ooi Joon Aun added that Wyndham Acmar Klang Hotel will offer 300 rooms and 188 residences as well as a wide selection of food and beverage options to meet the expectations of guests and visitors.
“The hotel shall be the venue for conventions and events in the Royal Town of Klang with its eight fully equipped meeting rooms and a grand ballroom that fits up to 2,200 people,” he said.
Minister of Housing and Local Government Hajjah Zuraida Binti Kamaruddin emphasised on the importance of partnership in enabling long-term organisation success and national prosperity.
She believes Acmar Group’s projects will contribute to the country’s economy, creating job opportunities and boost business, especially in the Klang district.
