Sime Darby Property scores another breakthrough.
PETALING JAYA: Sime Darby Property repeated its Elmina Valley success by attaining a 94% take-up rate for its Elmina Valley Phase 2, which was launched to the public on Saturday, April 9.
A total of 290 units out of the 309 residential homes on offer were quickly taken up by eager purchasers, reflecting strong demand for residential products within the RM600,000 price range presented by Sime Darby Property.
The Elmina Valley Phase 2 comprises of 309 double storey link homes ranging from 20'x70' (Type A) to 22'x80' (Type B), with a built up area from 1,855 sq ft. Both feature an open-plan floor layout, with an interplay of modern and classic style elements through brick pattern design and minimalist clean lines of the walls.
The Type B (22'x80) homes boast a double frontage design which offers views of beautifully landscaped gardens. It also features a dual-key home concept with a single bedroom and bathroom separated from the main house, providing comfort and privacy.
Sime Darby Property Managing Director, Dato’ Ir. Jauhari Hamidi said, “This is an indication that the right product offered at the right price will be well received by the market. It also signifies that there is great demand for reasonably priced residential products at the City of Elmina.”
“Once again, we thank our customers for their confidence in our products and the potential of our development. We aim to continue this strong performance with other developments in our portfolio, to achieve our sales target of over RM2.5 billion by the end of the financial year.”
The success of Elmina Valley Phase 2 follows the recent achievement of Elmina Valley Phase 1, which recorded a 95% take-up rate within a day of its launch in February 2016. The success of both phases are attributed to strong demand for residential products at the City of Elmina, a 5,000-acre development of adjoining townships with a Gross Development Value of RM20.4 billion.
The City of Elmina includes townships of Denai Alam, Bukit Subang, Elmina East and Elmina West. Located along the Guthrie Corridor Expressway, the City of Elmina offers seamless inter-connectivity and accessibility.
Among City of Elmina’s features are the 300-acre Elmina Central Park and a 90-kilometer cycling and jogging track; one of the longest tracks in the country plus a wellness community complex for the community’s social activity needs. Safety and security of residents are also a priority from the design stage.
The township is also developed in line with an international standard, the Mercer’s Quality of Living Survey, which measures “liveability” in terms of safety, education, hygiene, culture and environment, among others.
