GEORGE TOWN: Nine developers generated sales of more than RM122mil during the four-day StarProperty.my Fair 2016 held at Gurney Plaza and Gurney Paragon Mall.
About RM68mil came from the property marketed by Zeon Proper-ties Sdn Bhd — Ewein Zenith’s City of Dreams, Aroma Development’s Starhill, Devoteshens Sdn Bhd’s My Sakura 28, Tawakar Group’s 98 Residence and Visentak Capital’s Mont Residence.
Ideal Property sold about RM35mil worth of units from its I-Santorini, One Foresta and Summerskye Residences projects.
Asia Green Construction Sdn Bhd sold RM3mil worth of units for its Clover project in Sungai Ara while receiving registrations for about RM10mil worth of property for its QuayWest Residence in Persiaran Bayan Indah near Queensbay Mall.
Ivory Properties Group Bhd achieved sales of RM12mil from the Tropicana Bay Residences in Bayan Mutiara and City Residence in Tanjung Tokong.
Eco World Development Group Bhd general manager Khoo Teck Chong said visitors also showed interest in the property located in Seberang Prai.
“For example, we got many queries on our RM280mil Eco Bloom high-rise project in Simpang Ampat which offers units priced below RM400,000,” he said yesterday.
Mah Sing Group Bhd senior chief operation officer Seth Lim said many showed interest in the group’s Ferringhi Residence 2 project in Batu Ferringhi.
“Its starting price of RM719,816 for a 1,200sq ft condo located in a well-known resort area attracted many visitors to our booth.
“Ferringhi Residence 2 will be launched on Aug 13,” he said.
According to IJM Land Bhd (north) senior general manager Datuk Toh Chin Leong, property hunters usually look for developers with a solid track record and a good reputation.
“We will launch the Waterside Residence project in The Light Waterfront by the end of the year.
“This scheme has received 1,200 registrations so far,” Toh added.
Twenty developers participated in the property fair which ended yesterday.
