PETALING JAYA: More civil service employees are now on their way to be homeowners under the ongoing implementation of the 1Malaysia Civil Servants Housing Project (PPA1M), an affordable housing scheme launched in early 2013.
Applications are currently being accepted for the PPA1M Mercu Jalil apartments located in Bukit Jalil, a project developed by award-winning township developer, LBS Bina Group Bhd.
LBS Bina Group Bhd managing director TanSri Lim Hock San mentioned in a statement, “We understand that owning a home is big a challenge for some, thus why LBS continues to be a strong supporter of Government initiatives that help make homes more attainable.
“We are happy to see more civil service employees have a place to call home at PPA1M Mercu Jalil and are still accepting applications.”
PPA1M Mercu Jalil comprises two blocks of 47-storey apartments (1,360 units), inclusive of a nine-storey car park facility. Priced from RM245,000, each unit has a built-up area of 1,000 to 1,200 sq ft, accommodating a cosy layout of three bedrooms and two bathrooms.
With a gross development value (GDV) of RM354mil, PPA1M Mercu Jalil includes amenities such as a multipurpose hall, children’s playground, nursery, jogging path, prayer room and green area for community and leisure activities.
PPA1M Mercu Jalil is expected to be completed by four years upon signing of SPA.
