The Alila 2 luxury condominium by Hunza in Tanjung Bungah, Penang.

HUNZA Properties Berhad held a grand key handover ceremony for its Alila 2 condominium in Tanjung Bungah, Penang.

The poolside party by lush hills created a lovely setting for condo buyers and guests, many from Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore and Britain.

The reputable developer even invited Metro Radio from Hong Kong to broadcast the event live via the radio station.

The condominium is built on a 3.97ha-freehold elevated plot in Tanjung Bungah, complete with terrace garden, aqua gym, sky gourmet unit, basketball court and other facilities.

Construction work began in August 2014 and was completed in August this year.

About 47% of Alila 2 is surrounded by lush greenery and the project is accredited with the Green Building Index Gold Certificate.

In his speech, Hunza Group managing director Datuk Khor Siang Gin said the company was committed to rolling out the best products so it could compete in the international arena.

“Our next milestone will be the Penang International Commercial City in the southwest of Penang island.

“It will be an iconic landmark with a hotel, a hospital, shopping mall, apartments and offices.”

State exco member Chow Kon Yeow said Hunza had shown how a hillside development could be shaped.

Also present were Deputy Chief Minister I Datuk Mohd Rashid Hasnon, Hunza Group executive chairman Datuk Seri Khor Teng Tong and executive director Khor Tze Ming.
