KUALA LUMPUR: Panasonic Malaysia and SP Setia have launched a partnership project to elevate their shared value in the sustainability and well-being of potential homeowners.
This alliance with Panasonic is part of SP Setia’s continuing search for ways to improve and provide residents with better quality of life. The project will kick off with the developer’s Barola series in the Musika Homes collection, with the installation of Panasonic’s Complete Air Management System in the master bedrooms.
This exemplifies SP Setia’s effort to drive sustainability by delivering a quality indoor environment which is an integral part of the live, learn, work and play experience in a self-contained and sustainable township.
“At SP Setia, we create communities by shaping the built environment in accordance with the latest design and technology trends and focusing on sustainability.
“From the early 2000s, we have pioneered sustainability in our developments, particularly integrating greenery into living with the aim of better living (and air) for all our residents. Our ability to connect our communities and create ecological features and sustainable living environments that enrich the lives of our residents has made the Setia brand synonymous with strength, reliability and value, and this is further validated by the many international sustainability-related awards that we have been adjudged with for the past decades.
“Simultaneously, we are continuously enhancing what we have always been doing by incorporating Panasonic’s Complete Air Management System to improve the Indoor Air Quality in the homes we are building for our purchasers,” said SP Setia divisional general manager Tan Siow Chung.
The Panasonic Complete Air Management System is a unique hybrid-link technology synchronising air conditioning and ventilation operation. The system utilises its own algorithm and built-in sensors to monitor air quality levels such as PM2.5, CO2, indoor temperature and humidity level.
Using IAQ Remote Controller, residents will be able to visualise the healthy level of the air they breathe and take control of the air management remotely using the Comfort Cloud mobile application.
“As one of the leading air quality solution providers, we are thrilled with this collaboration to sustain our planet with quality air through energy efficiency. Through the intelligent algorithm sensors and cloud-based technologies, residents will be able to ensure the quality of their lifestyle with better airspace through the Complete Air Management System and to feel more productive in the comfort of their own homes,” said Panasonic Corporation QAFL business promotion office managing director Ichiro Suganuma.
Barola is a series of double-storey terrace houses with built-up areas ranging from 2,301 sq ft to 2,520 sq ft. These four-bedroom, four-bathroom houses are located in the award-winning township of Setia Alam and will be completed in December 2024.
Also present at the launching ceremony were Panasonic Air Conditioning Malaysia sales and marketing group general manager Stephen Eric Khan, Panasonic Malaysia life solutions country head Atsushi Yoshida and SP Setia chief strategy officer Lindayani Tajudin.
