KUALA LUMPUR: OSK Group (OSK) is renewing its stance as a developer that will deliver quality properties that can be afforded by the people, particularly first-time home buyers.

To mark its 55th anniversary, its property arm will focus on building ‘Essential Homes’ that are affordably priced at strategic locations, said OSK Property CEO Ong Ghee Bin.

“Essential homes are what we define as developments that are focusing on the fundamental requirements with selected key facilities while maintaining a balance of greenery and sustainable features,” he said.

 “As affordability remains the key focus in homeownership today, OSK Property will continue to focus more on the buyer’s market to ease homeownership especially for first time home buyers,” he added.

 “In line with this, we will be incorporating this product in our future launches in Melawati, Sentul and Rubica in Butterworth. That aside, plans are also underway at our recently purchased land in Bandar Bukit Puchong whereby OSK Property is looking at a total of four phases within the 27.77-acre masterplan, which will be revealed in due time,” he added.

In celebration of its 55th anniversary in property development, OSK Property has launched the 55x Rewards campaign, which runs from June 1 to Dec 31, 2020. The campaign rewards all Malaysians with 55x Rewards, great homeownership deals and exclusive gifts.

Homebuyers can now own their dream home from OSK Property and stand a chance to win a share of RM355,000 including a grand prize draw of RM55,000.

To ensure quality, OSK Property in 2018 introduced its property-construction model, an initiative to integrate its property and construction divisions seamlessly. Since then, OSK Property has raised its benchmark in the quality of its projects as demonstrated by significant increases in Qlassic scores in projects such as Luminari, Butterworth; Windmill Upon Hills, Genting Permai and TimurBay achieving quality scores of around 70 to 80.

 The organisation will continue to market its on-going projects including Ryan & Miho in Petaling Jaya, You City III in Cheras and Melbourne Square, Australia. Meanwhile, its existing township in Yarra Park, Sungai Petani will continue to expand with the launch of two new phases this year including semi-detached and single-storey terraced homes in Westfield and Northfield.

 Finally, the new township in Iringan Bayu, Seremban will be revealing two more phases given the encouraging take-up rate from its previous launches. Iringan Bayu is also set to launch the 22-acre Wetland Park which will open to the public this year.
