ECO WORLD Development Group Berhad (EcoWorld) unveiled its latest development called Eco Grandeur at the launch of its 12th sales gallery, in Puncak Alam, Selangor.
The 567ha leasehold integrated green township marked the property developer’s entry into the North West Klang Valley growth corridor.
EcoWorld Development Group Bhd president and chief executive officer Datuk Chang Khim Wah said the new development had all the hallmarks of an EcoWorld development in terms of outstanding architecture, lavish landscaping, excellent security and signature landmarks.
“Eco Grandeur embodies modern Victorian elegance, from architecture to landscape, drawing inspiration from the Victorian era that was famous for grandeur and eclectic character influenced by arts and crafts from around the world.
“The icon of the township is the 25ha-Dragonfly Lake with beautiful views of a surrounding 24ha Town Park.
“The entire development will also be completed with cycling and walking paths to promote a healthy lifestyle for our residents,” he said.
On top of first-time homeowners, the development is also targeted at those who are currently living in the area and looking for a better quality of life without having to move away.
“Eco Grandeur will offer homes that are affordable without compromising quality and luxury,” added Chang.
The property developer aims to achieve a Green Building Index Certified Township status for Eco Grandeur, where conservation efforts are greatly prioritised.
To be developed in tandem with the township is the adjacent 210ha Eco Business Park V, EcoWorld’s first gated and guarded green business park in Klang Valley, which is expected to be launched next year.
“It is not just about housing; for long-term sustainability, employment is the key to everything.
“The business park and commercial area will also provide employment opportunities to those living within the vicinity.
“With the given location and connectivity, the commercial area is set to be the centre of North West Corridor of Klang Valley.
The combined gross development value of both projects is RM15bil.
At the show gallery launch, Eco Grandeur’s first two upcoming projects were previewed and the launch will be in September.
Avenham Garden features double-storey garden homes with built-up areas ranging from 1,778sq ft to 1,877sq ft, and the selling price is estimated to be about RM650,000.
With an estimated price of RM500,000, Graham Garden comprises double-storey terrace homes with built-up areas from 1,521sq ft to 1,743sq ft.
The Eco Grandeur show gallery, also EcoWorld’s fifth show gallery in the Klang Valley, spans across 2ha of land and has an estimated building space of 20,000sq ft.
Chang said the Eco Grandeur show gallery took just two months to complete and is different from the earlier galleries.
“Its structure is made out of steel framing with brick wall and supported on a reinforced concrete raft foundation,” he added.
The development is strategically located with access via five major highways – Guthrie Corridor Expressway, Kuala Lumpur Selangor Expressway, North South Expressway and two upcoming highways, namely the proposed Damansara-Shah Alam Expressway and West Coast Expressway, which will be completed by 2019.
