KUALA NERUS: The Terengganu government is offering new houses to four families in Kampung Duyong Kecil who were left homeless by a fire.
Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Ahmad Razif Abd Rahman said the victims were given options depending on whether they owned land or not.
"For those who own land, the government will help to build a house immediately.
“Those without land will be offered a house under the Hardcore Poor Housing Project (PPRT)," he said after visiting the fire victims here.
The four families were left homeless after an early morning fire.
Two of the houses were gutted while the others were 50% damaged.
The victims are currently putting up either with relatives or at the community hall. – Bernama
