KUALA LUMPUR: Mah Sing Group Bhd (Mah Sing) is planning to unveil the 9.6-acre Summit Park, its very first community-friendly recreational park in Southville City, KL South.
With an estimated gross development value of RM11bil, Southville City, which sits on 428 acres of land is Mah Sing’s largest township development in Klang Valley. It is expected to be completed in the next 12 to 15 years.
The township is actively undergoing various developments to cater to the estimated population of around 69,000 people upon its completion. Amongst the recent developments include the completion of Avens Residence, Savanna Executive Suites, Savanna Boulevard Shops, as well as the upcoming opening of Mercearia Grocer.
“The Summit Park, which is scheduled for its official unveiling in March 2020 is not only limited to residents of our Southville City alone but will welcome the public as well,” Mah Sing group managing director Tan Sri Leong Hoy Kum said.
The park is deemed as one of the pioneer public park playground in Malaysia that complies with the international safety standards certified by the Playground Safety Association of Malaysia (PSAM).
The completion of the Summit Park is timely to cater to the growing population within the vicinity as it straddles across matured neighbourhoods like Bangi, Kajang, Nilai, Seremban, Semenyih, Dengkil and Sepang.
The Summit Park is equipped with covered and open picnic areas furnished to offer al-fresco dining experience throughout the park. The playground area, considered as one of the largest public park playgrounds in the state, spans over 8,600 sq ft. There are also meditation areas and over 20 different outdoor gyms and par-course facilities equipped for outdoor workout and meditation sessions.
Subsequently, “Summit View Point,” dubbed as the highest accessible area of the park, will offer a panoramic view overlooking the whole park. All spaces are linked with a 1.2-km looped pedestrian circulation system for strolling, jogging and cycling activities throughout the park.
