PETALING JAYA: Home buyers gave an overwhelming reception to Mah Sing Group Bhd’s properties, taking up all of M Minori’s Tower A international lots and 90% of M Senyum’s phase 3A over a weekend. M Minori is a mixed development located in Taman Seri Austin, Johor Bahru while M Senyum is a double-storey home development in Bandar Salak Tinggi, Selangor. 

Mah Sing Group founder and group managing director Tan Sri Leong Hoy Kum said that the group is confident of achieving its sales target of RM2.2bil this year. 

“Acquiring M Minori’s 6.938-acre land last year, we quickly turnaround and opened Tower A for sale as we strongly believe in its positive response in the market. On top of that, our residential landed development, M Senyum in Bandar Salak Tinggi continues to be in demand from home buyers. 

"The overwhelming response over the past weekend has substantiated our decision. Moving forward, our focus will remain on achieving robust demand and shorter turnaround M Series residential properties that align with market needs. We are actively exploring potential locations in Klang Valley, Johor and Penang to develop residential and industrial properties,” he said. 

M Minori is surrounded by well-established amenities such as international schools and well-known institutions of higher learning, shopping malls and recreational destinations. It is priced below RM500,000 and has a Japanese design to cater to younger home buyers. M Minori also has obtained a GreenRE Bronze certification. 

“This certification not only reflects our commitment to sustainability as a responsible developer but also opens doors to support from the financial partners. These financial partners offer green financing options to the home buyers, which translate to lower interest rates on housing loans for purchasers,” said chief executive officer Benjamin Ong. 

Meanwhile, M Senyum Phase 3A starts from RM496,000 and offers four bedrooms and three bathrooms, with a built-up area that ranges from 1,555 sq ft to 1,624 sq ft. Due to the overwhelming response from home buyers, Mah Sing has opened Phase 3B comprising 195 units and priced from RM499,000 for registration.
