KUALA LUMPUR: Mah Sing Group Bhd has partnered with interior design visualisation app SofaX allowing home buyers to experience its virtual reality (VR) technology on the MY Mah Sing app.
The collaboration requires the use of a mobile application, integrating SofaX’s app features into Mah Sing’s.
“Our MY Mah Sing app has always been there at every step for our homeowners. Now, the SofaX platform is enhancing the app even further, by converting 2D house plans into a VR space where homeowners can fully immerse themselves and experiment with mixing and matching furniture, fittings, wall and tile colours,” Mah Sing group chief executive officer Datuk Ho Hon Sang said.
Currently, the partnership extends to two of Mah Sing’s latest projects, M Vertica and Sensory @ Southville City. M Privilege members at these developments will enjoy discounts worth over RM14.5mil in total on furniture, fitting, and interior design packages.
These members will receive 3,000 SofaX points, credited via the MY Mah Sing app. An additional 500 SofaX points will be given during the vacant possession event for use on the SofaX app.
The points are equivalent in value to the ringgit, which will enable M Privilege members to each enjoy a RM3,500 rebate on all purchases at participating home and living vendors listed on the SofaX app, which offers an extensive range of furniture and home decoration merchants.
M Privilege members at M Vertica and Sensory @ Southville City will also get exclusive access to SofaX’s Personal Shopper Programme, which provides 120-minute consultations.
“Our core goal has always been to make lives easier for homeowners through the use of cutting-edge technology. Our visualisation app does not intend to replace specialised interior design software, but rather serves as an alternate, simplified way for homeowners to explore their options before deciding which furniture or fittings they’d like to buy,” one of SofaX's founders Sean Lai said.
SofaX chief marketing officer Brendan Lee, chief operating officer Mac Lai, and Mah Sing branding and strategic marketing head Bernard Yong were also present at the event.
