KUALA LUMPUR: Mah Sing Group Bhd (Mah Sing) carries on the strong momentum in 2021 with the celebration of its second topping up ceremony of the year with M Centura, which was fully sold out.
Notable as Mah Sing’s first project in Sentul, M Centura has an estimated gross development value (GDV) of RM570mil. The development is located only 5km from the Kuala Lumpur city centre, allowing easy access to various parts of the city and suburbs via trunk roads and highways, such as the DUKE Highway, Middle Ring Road 2 as well as the Karak Highway.
M Centura is currently at around 89% completion and is on track for vacant possession targeted in Q4 2021. Mah Sing chief executive officer Datuk Ho Hon Sang said: “When we first launched M Centura in 2017 under our Reinvent Affordability initiative back then, we aim to reinvent what it means to be affordable and develop more affordably priced homes to cater to market’s supply-demand gap.
“The fully sold out M Centura speaks for itself as the wholesome package of the project fits our home buyers’ needs. We take pride in understanding the market needs for affordable homes and this is the key success recipe that we replicate for our projects.”
He added that the organisation takes the safety of the construction workers seriously and has achieved over 4.2 million safe man-hours for M Centura. “It is not an easy feat to tackle the impact of the Covid-19, while ensuring that the construction progress still remains on track with our initial schedule to deliver the units to our home buyers in Q4 2021,” he said.
According to Ho, Mah Sing has subsequently launched another freehold project in Sentul, namely M Arisa. The development sits on 3.31 acres of land and has an estimated GDV of RM652mil. The project features an urban forest concept and is targeted mainly at first-time homebuyers and upgraders as well as young families.
Also present at the topping up ceremony were Pembinaan Bintang Baru Sdn Bhd managing director Yong Yaw Choong, Mah Sing general manager (sales and marketing) Chris Chen Weng Hong and general manager (project implementation) Liew Wee Fong.
