KUALA LUMPUR: Mah Sing Group Bhd (Mah Sing) recently completed its M Oscar North and South Tower structure, celebrating its topping-up ceremony in Sri Petaling.
With a gross development value of approximately RM542mil, construction of the project is currently around 76% completion. M Oscar was launched in 2019 and both towers, which house a total of 910 units, achieved a take-up rate of 98%.
“Our affordable M Series have been receiving good take-up rates due to the good locations with excellent connectivity, practical layouts, and facilities,” Mah Sing group chief executive officer Datuk Ho Hon Sang said.
“This thoughtfully designed project boasts a favourable North-South orientation that effectively minimizes direct sunlight exposure on the building’s sides. As a result, it reduces heat gain and lowers energy consumption required for air conditioning,” chief operating officer Chris Chen added.
Priced from RM806,000, type D units have a build-up of 1,189 sq ft, with four bedrooms and three bathrooms. The development is in the vicinity of Happy Garden and Kuchai Lama, accessible via Jalan 2/149. M Oscar is scheduled for completion by Q4 2023.
“We are confident that our ongoing and upcoming projects will be well received by homebuyers because investing in properties is still an effective hedge against inflation and demand for affordably priced properties remains high. We will maintain our product leadership position in affordable homes by developing projects in strategic locations with attractive price points and well-designed features to meet the needs of various market segments,” Ho said.
