KUALA LUMPUR: Property developer Mah Sing Group Bhd opens the second tower of its mixed development M Astra for sale after a strong response to its Tower B.
M Astra’s Tower B received a 95% take-up over the weekend while the retail shops were 100% taken up with two drive-through units, hosting Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf and Jollibee.
Located in Setapak, M Astra comprises two blocks of serviced suites with 24 units of retail lots with plans to accommodate drive-through food and beverages (F&B) outlets.
“We are glad to see that M Astra is well-received by homebuyers during its official launch. This is a testament that properties located in well-connected and matured neighbourhoods are high in demand,” Mah Sing founder and group managing director Tan Sri Leong Hoy Kum said.
“With the encouraging response from M Astra as well as the sales momentum for the rest of our affordable M series developments, we are confident that we are well on track to achieve our 2022 sales target of RM2 billion. As of 30 September 2022, Mah Sing has recorded RM1.69 billion in new property sales.”
M Astra is Mah Sing’s second development at Setapak, following M Adora in Wangsa Melawati.
“Mah Sing’s strategic focus is to provide homes that are affordable yet sustainable to Malaysians. The integration of Biophilic design – designing with nature in mind – into M Astra’s landscape aims to foster the harmony and affinity of the environment in an urban setting,” Mah Sing property subsidiaries chief executive officer Yeoh Chee Beng said.
M Astra will be incorporated with sustainable features such as an automated waste collection system, an electric vehicle charging station, and other green features.
