PETALING JAYA: LBS Bina Group Bhd (LBS) has won the Top-of-the-Chart Award at the MDA 2024, underscoring LBS’s on-going dedication to developing innovative and high-quality properties while advancing sustainable and responsible practices.

Group executive chairman Tan Sri Lim Hock San said the group is honoured to be recognised among the country’s top developers.

“This award reflects our financial resilience and commitment to sustainable growth. Our recent expansion into renewable energy aligns with our environmental goals and strengthens our foundation for a sustainable future within property development,” Lim said.

“Our strategic initiatives pave the way for ongoing growth, reinforcing our leadership in the market. We remain dedicated to creating value for our stakeholders and making a positive impact on environmental sustainability,” he added.

Present at the award ceremony was group sustainability head Shany Lim, who received the award presented by the Housing and Local Government Minister Nga Kor Ming, accompanied by MDA chief judges Prof Yeah Kim Leng and Datuk Jayaselan Navaratnam, International Real Estate Federation FIABCI Malaysian Chapter (FIABCI Malaysia) president Dr Yu Kee Su and Star Media Group chief executive officer Chan Seng Fatt.

A joint initiative between Star Media Group and FIABCI Malaysia, the MDA is regarded as an industry benchmark that recognises outstanding companies with significant market capitalisation, strong financial performance, robust governance and sustained growth in the property development sector.
