PETALING JAYA: LBS Bina Group Bhd announced that it will take part in the launch of the Malacca Cultural and Trade Centre and Malacca Cultural Festival in Zhuhai, China between March 19 and 20, 2016.
The property developer that focuses on building townships and medium-cost mass housing had established ties with China’s Zhuhai Jiuzhou Group Holdings Ltd via a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in September.
The MoU entailed the upgrade and tranformation plan of multiple zones in Zhuhai International Circuit (ZIC) that also involved the development of a cultural centre to showcase the bond between China and Malaysia.
Held at ZIC, LBS said that the launch of Malacca’s cultural, trade centre and cultural festival would set in motion the plans detailed.
“The festival will feature the best of Malaysia’s historical south-western state and showcase food stalls, cultural performances, and the historical ties between Malaysia and China”, said LBS in a statement.
It also added that the Pan Delta Super Racing Festival also held at ZIC would conclude the event.
Malacca Yang DiPertua Negeri Tun Mohd Khalil Yaakob. Chief Minister Datuk Seri Idris Haron and Guangdong Governor Zhu Xioadan will officiate at the events.
LBS has been involved in the management and consultancy services of Zhuhai City since 1993.
Group managing director Tan Sri Lim Hock San, who is also a director of ZIC, has been an active committee member of the Zhuhai Municipal People’s Political Consultative Conference.
