As food and dining experiences increasingly grow in importance in the modern retail mix, Sunway Velocity Mall has dedicated 200,000 sq ft of retail space – spread across various food and beverage precincts across the mall’s seven floors.

Street Eats & More
One unique aspect of Sunway Velocity Mall is its tribute to street food – which is a celebration of Malaysian food heritage and food culture. Food Street Food consists mostly of food outlets started by families or those with quaint success stories i.e. Kim Lian Kee or Sai Kee Restaurant. Other names include Boat Noodle, XiXiang Kaya Kopitiam, Hong Kong Roast Kitchen and more. Think old school Asian fare that one enjoys with a cup of kopi on the streets of Kuala Lumpur on a Sunday morning.
“It's the food and experiences you grew up with; the warm, nostalgic memories of yesteryear that are always intertwined with food. Food Street Food is all about that, albeit with a modern twist and ambience,” shared Kevin Tan, Chief Operating Officer of Sunway Malls.
