SELANGOR: KLK Land Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Kuala Lumpur Kepong Bhd, recently handed over its second phase of Rumah Selangorku affordable homes in Bandar Seri Coalfields.
Known as Hibiscus 3, the project is in support of the state government’s call to cater to the demand for affordable housing for people from all walks of life. Phase 2 offers 274 two-storey terrace homes with built-ups of 1,050 sq ft at a launch price of RM220,000 each.
Lee said: “We have always place high importance on the quality of the products we offer and there are no exceptions for our affordable homes segment. Although Hibiscus 3 are priced at RM220,000, we do not compromise on the quality of the products. The construction of Hibiscus 3 took about 2 years to complete.
“As a responsible corporate citizen and developer, we are committed in supporting the state government’s initiatives in building more acquirable homes for the people. We will make affordable homes an integral part of our township and play our part in aiding our rakyat to find and acquire an affordable home whilst enjoying the quality lifestyle KLK Land has to offer.”
KLK Land developed 224 storey terrace homes in its first phase of the affordable homes range name Hibiscus 2 which already handed over to homeowners in April 2017. Both phases are part of the integrated township set on a 1,001 acre of freehold land with a gross development value of RM5.6bil.
Bandar Seri Coalfields comprises of mixed commercial and residential properties, such as shop offices, bungalows, semi-detached houses, superlink houses and terrace houses.
The integrated township offers numerous public amenities, including Wesley Methodist Private School, primary and secondary schools, kindergarten, market, petrol stations, police station and a residents’ clubhouse.
There is also a 50-acre Central Park which serves as a landscaped pedestrianised connector within Bandar Seri Coalfields. To commemorate the occasion, 10 owners were presented the mock keys by Amirudin and Rahilah.
Speaking at the handover ceremony, Amirudin said: “It is heartening to see developers like KLK Land supporting our initiative to provide affordable housing for the people of Selangor. It is our aim to provide the rakyat with quality and comfortable homes at affordable prices to meet the high demand of low and middle-income buyers working in urban areas.”
