KUALA LUMPUR: Global real estate agency IQI, a member of proptech giant Juwai IQI, continues its expansion with the launch of IQI FOX Cyprus, in partnership with the long-established and well-respected local agency, FOX Smart Estate Agency. The new office marks IQI's second in the past month, after Bali, Indonesia, and extends the IQI agent network to 21 countries.
"We're genuinely excited to partner with George Mouskides and his team at FOX. FOX is a leader in the local market, with deep ties to builders and consumers and an excellent team. We are proud to have IQI FOX Cyprus represent IQI in this important market," said Juwai IQI co-founder and group chief executive officer Kashif Ansari.
“Cyprus attracts more than 500,000 arrivals per month. The strong local economy gives another dimension to the positive outlook, with 2024 GDP growth expected to hit 2.8%, up from 2.4% last year.
"In 2024, residential real estate market volume will likely hit US$89.58 billion, with annual growth of 4.05% through 2028. Looking forward, we expect further development of luxury resorts and homes, with coastal areas being a particular area of focus. Supporting this growth the government has proposed investment in new schools, roads, golf courses, and marinas,” he said.
Juwai IQI co-founder and group managing director Daniel Ho said the new Cyprus office brings together the resources, technology, and reach of Juwai IQI's international network with the local team's market-leading knowledge, relationships and experience.
Our agent super-app Atlas and international property marketing platforms juwai.com and juwai.asia will help the local team market property, win listings, and increase productivity.
"We already work with many buyers interested in Cypriot real estate and have long wanted to provide them with a more complete, end-to-end service. Cyprus has a desirable climate and natural beauty. Through this partnership, we will bring more international and local buyers to Cypriot property, boosting local transaction volume and sales prices," he said.
IQI Cyprus head George Mouskides said: "Since opening our doors in 2006, FOX has grown into one of the largest service-providing organisations in Cyrpus' property sector. We are proud to join hands with IQI, and we believe the partnership will help us continue to grow and better serve our vendors and buyers.
"A segment of the Cypriot market is intensely international, so we can benefit from a global partner like IQI that brings technology, best practices, international networks of buyers and developers, and a supporting global culture for our team. We offer market-leading services to both local and international buyers, vendors, and renters -- including agency services, property and common expenses management, property investment consulting, and fund management services."
