PETALING JAYA: Ikhmas Jaya Group Bhd has been awarded a contract worth RM62.4mil for site work in Terengganu.

The construction company said yesterday that it had received the letter of award from Pelaburan Hartanah Bhd to carry out site clearance, earthworks, piling (bore) and pile cap works for a shopping complex project in the state.

Ikhmas Jaya said the project’s duration was one year.

“The contract work is expected to commence next Tuesday, and complete by May 8, 2018,” it said.

It added that the project was expected to contribute positively to the group’s earnings and net assets for the financial years ending Dec 31, 2017, and 2018.
