A mother of two, Kim Kasl, doesn’t feel deprived raising her young children without the benefit of washer, dryer or TV.
Her family chose to live a minimalist life in a portable one-room cottage in Minnesota, United States. She said that the choice has allowed them to get by on one income, to home-school their kids and “instill amazing values – valuing experiences and time together over stuff we store in our house.
